
MD-PhD student Leanne Dumeny has been selected as a new student member of the Chapman Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS), known locally as the Chapman Society. The GHHS is a community of medical students, physicians, and other leaders who have been selected by their peers for their compassionate care.
A program of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation, the GHHS was established to reinforce and support the importance of the human connection in healthcare and medical education. Up to 15% of each graduating MD class may be selected for GHHS membership. The GHHS has more than 45,000 members in over 180 chapters in medical schools and residency programs.
